Dr Arayomi’s surgery offers family planning procedures for all Essex patients (except Southend area) for intrauterine devices (IUD) and contraception implants (Nexplanon).There are no waiting list, as there are available appointments to see all suitable patients within a week of contacting the surgery. The IUD (coil) and implant are part of LARC procedures offered in the surgery.

A general health check are available as follows:
NHS Health check
- aged 40-74 (no other conditions, every 5 years)
- Well Woman
- Well Man
- aged 75 and over (who has not seen a GP in the last year)
General checks will be carried out as follows:
Blood pressure, blood tests (as appropriate), Height and Weight, Lifestyle advice, Tetanus status.
Our Practice Nurse
Our practice nurse has been trained to deal with minor illnesses and injuries, wound care, immunisations, cervical screening, and general health screening.
She also provides regular monitoring of long term conditions including Asthma, COPD, Diabetes and Hypertension.
